Mapefer 1K – Anti-Corrosion Mortar for Reinforcement Rods

One-component, cementitious, anti-corrosion mortar designed to protect steel reinforcement rods and prevent rust formation. Ideal for repairing concrete with shrinkage-compensated mortars (Mapegrout range) or cement mortars modified with synthetic latex. Suitable for underground concrete applications.

Key Features:

• One-component polymer-modified cementitious mortar with corrosion inhibitors
• Applied in two coats with a brush, total thickness ~2 mm
• Wait 90–120 min between coats; fully dry in 6–24 hours before applying repair mortar
• Maximum aggregate: 0.5 mm
• Mixing ratio: 100 parts Mapefer 1K : 20–22 parts water
• Pot life: ~1 hour at 20°C
• Coverage: 100–250 g/m for 8 mm rebar (2 mm coating)
• Classification: EN 1504-7
• Packaging: 4 × 5 kg aluminum bags per box
• Shelf life: 24 months
