Henry/Bakor 700-01 is a damp proofing and waterproofing emulsion made from vacuum-reduced asphalt dispersed in a mineral colloid emulsifier. It is odorless, non-toxic, and has a heavy brush consistency, providing excellent adhesion to both damp and dry construction surfaces. Once cured, the coating forms a stable, ductile layer that is resistant to prolonged water contact. This environmentally friendly product contains no asbestos or volatile compounds.
Henry/Bakor 700-01 is used as a waterproofing solution in membrane systems to control hydrostatic pressure or can be applied as a straightforward coating for dampproofing concrete and masonry. It is perfect for insulated concrete forms (ICF), preserved wood foundations (PWF), foundation walls, footings, split-slab floors, retaining walls, and wing walls.
